I’ve seen Public a few times now, and with each progressive show I am impressed more and more. Front man Chris Stopa has a swagger and charismatic presence eerily similar to Jim Morrison. The music is guaranteed to get the dance floor moving with a tight rhythm section and great guitar work.

The Mod Club provided a great place for the band to whip the crowd into a frenzy, even if it wasn’t as full as it should have been. Tracks like ‘Walk Away’ have a tendency to sneak into your consciousness and make your body move involuntarily, even if you’re not the dancing type – at a Public show, you will be.

Harsh, Unpredictable, and Demanding of your attention.

That’s the best way I can describe Revolution Love

Lead singer Megan Young has a voice that reaches closer towards blood-curdling scream at times, yet still draws you in.

The band, as a cohesive unit, is incredible to watch – spastic, violent, and enthralling. Definitely a show that needs to be seen.

It has been suggested quite a bit that I should have a show-related blog to post pictures to.  We’ll see how long I can keep this up
